I was lucky enough to come across Stepping Stone Support when I was hospitalized back in 2008. At the time of my hospital stay I just placed the card aside. It was not until years later when I realized what Stepping Stone Support represented and the true gift they gave to cancer patients. I have definitely had my share of ups and downs when my husband and I were trying to conceive. I am blessed, however, to have 2 beautiful children. I was there when Stepping Stone Support was just a thought. I am proud to say that I am part of Stepping Stone Support's Steering Committee and a volunteer. This organization has helped me in more ways than I let on. I'm not one to talk much about my own personal obstacles so through SSS I find my comfort.
